Tucked away among the beautiful, scenic countryside that Dorset has become famous for, Wolfedale Golf Course is a sight to behold. Offering 18 challenging but rewarding holes, a fully licensed bar, and a well-equipped shop, our club is committed to making golf accessible for everyone. You are warmly invited to visit our course and enjoy a round you will never forget. Many of our visitors comment on the warm, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere at Wolfedale Golf Course, especially given the exclusive and selective nature of many other clubs in the area.
Set over chalky soil and an excellent drainage system, our par-69 course spans 18 holes and 5,467 yards for men, or 4,798 yards for ladies. A 700-yard, six-hole starter course is also available for beginners to develop their skills.
Although many of our visitors are delighted by our extensive range of facilities, including the shop and bar, the breathtaking, panoramic views remain a significant attraction to our club. The course is nestled among spectacular scenery than spans across expansive lawns and tranquil surroundings. So whether you are looking to spend the day socialising with friends, or would like to practice your game in a peaceful, countryside environment, you are sure to love every minute spent at Wolfedale Golf Course.
Our golf club is associated with the English Golfing Union™ (EGU), meaning that golfers are able to enquire about obtaining an official handicap. We also hold monthly medal competitions and Stableford competitions, which are judged on a points-based system, rather than a score-based leaderboard.
As part of our commitment to making golf accessible to everyone, we offer a selection of discounts to reduce the cost of playing the game. Please get in touch with us for more details about our:
• Junior Discounts • Senior Discounts • Group Discounts
